CurrencyFair
At CurrencyFair, we wanted to create a unique work environment –with interesting and innovative spaces that were designed around people and the work they do. Andreas Heil developed a thorough understanding of our culture and our needs. He brought a design flair along with pragmatic approach that delivered excellent results on time and within budget. I would have no hesitation in recommending Andreas and would welcome the opportunity to work with him again.

“The challenge facing this design was how to address the restrictions posed by an old building that was not designed as a space for receiving human remains, with the constraints of a limited budget, yet at the same time ensuring that the final outcome was both sympathetic to its purpose yet non-denominational in appearance, a space that would reflect the best of all beliefs, while also being a location for quiet reflection and thought – and this has been achieved so successfully in Andreas’ work.”
Andrew Baker, Head of Property & Advertising, Dublin Airport Authority view project →Vista Med
The original design concept for the VistaMed R&D centre was created by ourselves within the company but when someone with the knowledge experience and design know-how of Andreas was brought into the project, his ideas really opened our eyes to what this space could look like. It simply turned a square, bland, concrete shell and core building into something really bright, colourful, creative and a very pleasant space to work in. The combination of layout, colours and textures really makes the R&D centre feel like a real R&D centre. The design is cutting-edge and techie and this is what we had asked for. We visit many of the major Medical Device OEM’s R&D centres around the globe and Andreas has assisted us in creating our own stand-out R&D centre right here in Co. Leitrim.

about [innen] →How we work
[innen] interior architects offer the full range of interior architectural services. Each project is different, but these are common stages of working with us
1. BRIEFING / SPACE PLANNING
At the beginning of each project we listen to you – a lot. When we are sure we know your needs and expectations we will draw up plans that capture these.
3d-sketches support our spatial ideas. You review – and we revise – so we get it 100% right.
2. DESIGN / CONCEPT
Each project is different – and we love that.
We are getting inspired by many different things. It could be your company ethos, the way you live or work, something you mention to us when we meet, something we randomly see. But one thing these all have in common : they are relevant to – YOU.
3. DESIGN – LOOK AND FEEL
The idea is taking shape. We are presenting our design to you fully 3-dimensional.
You’ll know exactly what you’ll get, what you like and what you don’t like – so we can make it better.
We will present images of all proposed finishes and upon first approval samples of all.
4. DESIGN - MODEL SIGN-OFF
Before anything is built, you can walk through your fit-out in virtual reality, in an easy to navigate model we share with you.
You can share this with all decision makers in your organisation and your staff. We are always happy to do staff presentations.
5. TENDER + CONSTRUCTION
We will produce all necessary information for a tender process and for subsequent construction.
We will oversee the project through construction phase and make sure that all details will be meticulously carried out to our design intent and specification.
6. HANDOVER
The project will be handed over to you when substantially complete.
However our work is only done when all defects have been rectified after a diligent snagging and de-snagging process.

I have worked with Andreas on several projects over the past few years and have recently employed [innen] ’s services to design our own new offices. As usual, Andreas exceeded our expectations on what we thought was possible resulting in clever and unique designs. Andreas attention to detail is extraordinary and his appetite to complete a perfect project is refreshing.
[innen] are truly a fantastic design firm.
Sheraton Hotel in Athlone
Declan Murphy Project Manager and client representative, Gallico Developments view project →Andreas was one of the lead architects working for Murray O’Laoire on the interior design and construction of the 4 Star Sheraton Hotel in Athlone. Andreas carried out his work with great pride and professionalism and his attention to detail for architecture is second to none. He was a key member of the design team and showed great leadership and guidance to the architectural team under him.
I would have the highest regard for Andreas as an architect and would gladly work with him again in the future, if the opportunity ever arose.
[innen] are the rare intersection of passion, skill, and character. Their ability to craft our needs into a coherent and compelling story, and almost fanatical attention to detail, set them apart. Andreas and his team became an integrated part of our family throughout the project and delivered beyond our expectations.
As a designer, Andreas is limitless in his creative flair and drenchingly fresh in his empathetic approach. How he can complement this with such razor-sharp attention to detail and cost-conscious efficiency is a mystery- but a very consistent one!
After many years of working in countless collaborative patterns with Andreas I have found his services as courteous and perceptive as his designs are elegant and practical. In two words, he captures – perfect equilibrium …. But rarely without his trademark cultural twist – and always a light touch of whimsy….!
[innen] has received numerous awards and nominations for its works.
