A Collaboration with KADdesign Moscow

We were tasked to design the interiors of a double height foyer of a new Vietnamese Cultural Centre, comprising of a hotel with 700 bedrooms and a large trade show and fare area. Our approach was to use screens made from the traditional Asian building material bamboo, but use them in a way that they form  very modern, dynamic and organic structures, that wrap around  the central circular double height space with it’s dramatically curving main stairs. The result is an intriguing layering experienced when moving through these spaces.
